If you have a very large amount of mods installed it is possible that your graphic cards is running out of texture memory as those mods are loaded together with the game, causing the application to crash. Perform the following steps to resolve this issue:

1. Uninstall all mods
2. Launch the game

Make sure that you always only have the mods you really want to use installed in order to ensure that the game is running with optimal performance. Make sure that you only install as many mods as your computer can handle!

Airport CEO crashes randomly when the airport starts to traffic passengers

If you computer does not meet Airport CEO’s minimum system requirements, the application can easily crash once put under significant load. For example, simulating large amounts of passengers without enough dedicated VRAM will overwhelm your GPU’s texture memory causing the application to crash.

Ensure that your computer meets at least the minimum required system specifications, as detailed here (scroll down to the system requirements section).

Airport CEO’s save files are missing

It is possible that your save directory has been renamed as a result of an application update. Your save files should be located in the following folder:

Windows:
 C:\Users\*YOUR COMPUTER USER NAME*\AppData\Roaming\Apoapsis Studios\Airport CEO\Saves
macOS:
 /Users/*YOUR COMPUTER USER NAME*/Library/Application Support/Apoapsis Studios/Airport CEO/Saves/

Airport CEO’s save files are empty or corrupted

This issue may be caused by a lack of available disk space, please ensure that you have at least a few GB (gigabytes) of free disk space on the drive where Airport CEO is installed in order to ensure the you can properly save your airports.

This issue can also be caused by incorrectly quitting the application during runtime, for example during an autosave event which will disrupt the data writing process. Please make sure that you always quit the application correctly using the “quit game” button.
